Points system
Disc Golf World Tour points are awarded for performing well in MPO division of select events. Points are used for two purposes: as a qualification method for DGWT events and to determine the DGWT season winner for each season.
DGWT season points are awarded at each DGWT event. For current standings of the DGWT visit the players and standings page.
For DGWT qualification rankings purposes points are awarded for DGWT events, some PDGA Major events (Major), National Tour events (NT) and EuroTour events (ET). Points for each event expire after one year of the completion of the event.
Qualifying event levels
DGWT events are categorized in three different levels: World Tour Championship (WTC), and two levels for World Tour Events (WT1 and WT2) . WTC is the highest level category while WT2 is the lowest. More points are awarded in higher level events.

Ties split the points for the tied positions. E.g. if two players are tied for the 5th position, 5th and 6th place points are added, and that amount is divided equally between the tied players. Possible decimals are always rounded up (e.g. 88.3 points = 89 points).
