Happy Aussie Day mates! The first Disc Golf World Tour event of the 2017 season kicked off in scorching 41°C/104°F heat that really put not only our competitors but also our media staff to the test.
The opening round of the 2017 Aussie Open was many things, but if it had to be described in one word, it’d be a no-brainer; hot. Brutally, punishingly hot to be more specific.
Wednesday marked the final practice day here at the Mundaring DiscGolfPark. Besides practice rounds in the scorching 40°C/102°F heat, we saw a warm welcome by the Aussie locals during the tournament opening ceremony at the Mundaring Sporting Club.
