Presidents Cup Teams

Here are the core teams for the Presidents Cup 2017! These players have qualified to represent their team based on the 2016 yearend PDGA continental rankings and have been invited to this fine event that will determine which is the better disc golf continent.

A quick glance at the teams promises another thriller when these two teams packed with talented and skilled players face each other on the Beast on July 19. There’s one particularly noteworthy fact about the Presidents Cup players: Nathan Doss is the only player who has played for Team USA in all seven editions of the Presidents Cup since 2006 and has made the team yet again. This year he might get to raise the trophy for the 8th consecutive time if Team USA is victorious at Nokia!

Note that these are not final rosters though, as captain and two more players will be added to the team within the next two months leading into the event. Other changes are still possible as well if any of the qualified players can not attend the event. Next step in the qualification process are the captains elections, which begin on May 30th.
