Presidents Cup Returns in 2017

One of the most prestigious events in disc golf will be organized again this year after a two-year break: The Presidents Cup. The unique event format pits two teams against each other to solve the best disc golf continent in the world. Team United States will defend the Presidents Cup champions title and their claim for the trophy against Team Europe in the 8th edition of this special team event.

The compact one-day event takes place on the eve of the European Open, July 19th, at Nokia DiscGolfPark. The Presidents Cup features two 9-hole rounds where players compete against their rivals to earn points for their team. Each team consists of only 10 elite players who earn the right to represent their team through a qualification process which ensures that the best players from North America and Europe will face each other in July.

This exciting event is the perfect way to kick-off the European Open week! The Disc Golf World Tour organization is thrilled to host the event in collaboration with the PDGA.
