La Mirada Open – A truly international disc golf event

Only 40 days left before the Disc Golf World Tour starts! Were looking at a truly international opening event for the global tour with 9 different nationalities represented at the La Mirada Open. Athletes from Australia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland and of course the USA will step on the tee on March 10th at La Mirada Regional Park and battle for the first Disc Golf World Tour event title over the course of three days. All in all the current 117 players strong field looks very promising with over thirty 1000+ rated players. You can check the full list of registered players on the Disc Golf United.

Additional registration phase 5 open

There are still some open spots left at the La Mirada Open. We decided to extend the registration with another registration phase. The registration is now open for all PDGA members with a rating of 900 or higher – just like in phase 4. The phase 5 ends on Friday, February 12th, 16:00 UTC. Wild card application form is open

We just opened the wild card application form for the La Mirada Open as well. All PDGA members are welcome to apply for a wild card for the inaugural World Tour Event. All applications must be sent by February 15th as the recipients will be decided by February 19th. You must sign in to the Disc Golf World Tour as a player to apply for a wild card.
