Disc Golf World Tour rankings updated
The Disc Golf World Tour rankings were updated today. The top 10 remained the same even though a few players switched positions. Nikko Locastro took over the 5th spot from David Feldberg and Jeremy Koling usurped Simon Lizotte as #7. In overall we saw lot of movement in the top 100 with players falling below the line and new ones introduced among the top 100 athletes.
The reason for the update was the expiration of Aussie Open 2015 points – all points are included in the rankings for one year before they expire. The next update is up on February 29th when the points of Memorial Championship 2015 expire.
Being in the top 100 in DGWT rankings has it’s benefits as these players are invited to register for all World Tour events in the first phase.
