DGWT Season 2017
As the thrilling finale of the inaugural Disc Golf World Tour season 2016 is about to start we have exhilarating news: The DGWT 2017 season schedule and events! The 2017 edition of the DGWT expands to cover three continents as the Aussie Open adds Oceania on the DGWT map alongside Europe and USA. The new comer on the Tour joins three familiar events from this year: Konopiště Open, European Open, and USDGC.

Three PDGA Majors
The 2017 DGWT will focus on quality over quantity. This shows in the level of the events as three of the four tournaments in will be PDGA Majors. This is a result of a more tightly-knit cooperation with the Professional Disc Golf Association during and leading into the next year.
Season start on the west coast of Australia
The 2017 season will kick off in less than 4 months with the Aussie Open held in Perth. The event was introduced to the disc golf world in 2015 as a PDGA Major right off the bat. The venue of the 2017 Aussie Open is the same Mundaring DiscGolfPark, which put the top pros to a test in the summery conditions of the land down under.
