Aussie Open – USDGC & USADGC Qualifier
Just like last year, the highly prestigious United States Disc Golf Championship serves as the Disc Golf World Tour Championship in October. Each DGWT event following up to the USDGC works as a qualifying event for the Tour Championship, and the Aussie Open is no exception. The qualifying for the USDGC isn’t limited only to the DGWT Open Division, but all other Pro divisions as well. A total of 10 USDGC spots will be awarded to the 10 best overall scores between the DGWT Open Division, Open Women division and Master division.
The 2017 Aussie Open will be a qualifying event for the United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship (USADGC). The USADGC is one of the world’s biggest events for Amateur players, and it will once again be played at the highly rated Toboggan course in Michigan on June 2-4. The top finishing players in the MA1 division at the Aussie Open will qualify for this renowned event. The exact number of USADGC has yet to confirmed by the USADGC staff.
