Grip Equipment Endorses the DGWT

The Disc Golf World Tour has partnered with the preeminent manufacturer of disc golf bags ahead of the inaugural 2016 season. Grip Equipment’s products can already be seen all around the world, framed on the shoulders of elite pros and casual golfers alike, and now they’re the official bag of the DGWT. Jussi Meresmaa met with Matt Cullen and his team ahead of the 2015 United States Disc Golf Championships and set in motion a plan to bring in a major sponsor to the tour and also to begin developing a custom product specifically for the DGWT.

The decision to collaborate was made even easier because two of the world’s best, Paul McBeth and Simon Lizotte, signed on as DGWT athlete ambassadors and pledged to play all of the events on the 2016 schedule. Both McBeth and Lizotte endorse Grip-EQ as their bag of choice, along with Avery Jenkins who has recently been hired on as a commentator for the DGWT events.
