European Masters volunteer accommodation

The European Masters volunteers have an option of staying in Hästa Gård, which is a very old mansion located about a kilometer away from the tournament center. You can actually see the mansion all the from Järva DiscGolfPark’s permanen hole #14 tee. The mansion sits on top of a hill among the farm buildings of Hästa Gärd. Volunteers can stay in Hästa Gård for free.

Hästa Gård is old mansion and it isn’t luxurious but everything necessary for temporary accommodation is available at the school: toilets, showers, kitchen, and a quiet spaces for sleeping. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, water kettle, and necessary utensils. Tea and coffee will also be available. We’ll also provide some laundry detergent so you can wash your clothes by hand if necessary.

We need to make this absolutely clear: the mansion looks great from the outside but unfortunately the maintenance level isn’t the same indoors. The inside is quite rugged. Unfortunately this is the only thing that we can offer within a sensible distance from the course, but at least it’s something!

Volunteers will be divided to separate rooms to sleep in. There are couple of beds available but we recommended that you bring your own mattress to sleep on.

You should bring anything that you’d take on a trip with you. Here are some additional things that you should take with you as well:

  • Bedding (sheets & blanket) or a sleeping bag. Pillow is recommended as well.
  • Towel and toiletry.
  • Clothes for all kinds of weather. (It can get pretty cold and wet in June but also very hot!)
  • Disc golf equipment. (If you want to play the staff round.)

We’ll send more information about the accommodation closer to the event.
